Signal processing and communication modules (CPU), Transformer modules (VCTs), Binary
IO modules (BIs, BOs, and BIOs), and Power supply module (PWS) are arranged as shown.
As for the 'Max. dual ports' type (see Figure 1.1-2), an OPT2 is mounted on CPU in order to
communicate with the subunits using fiber cables. Whilst for the 'Dual ports with LAN for
Local PC' type (see Figure 1.1-3), it can be mounted on PCX. If the 'Stand-alone' type is selected,
it is mounted neither the CPU nor the PCX in the MainUnit.
