Active Vibration Suppression (APC without sensor on the load side)

Description
The function "Active Vibration Suppression" (AVS) is a robust procedure for vibration
damping without requiring a direct measuring system. Only the current and speed actual
values signals measured at the motor are used. The function AVS can be used, in particular,
also for drives with linear or torque motor that often do not use any direct measuring system.
In order that the function can be successfully used, the oscillation to be dampened must
have a sufficient effect on the axis motor. This means that the oscillation must be able to
measured in the motor current.
Before the function can be optimized, the speed controller loop must first be optimized as
this forms the subordinate control loop.
Note
The function AVS can also be used when a direct measuring system is available. It is
possible that this function offers advantages over using a direct measuring system.
Generally, the ruggedness of this function is better, e.g. when the mechanical system
changes.
The control without a sensor can also be combined with the P component (p3760/p3765) of
the direct measuring system if a direct measuring system exists. This increases the
suppression of disturbances and also increases the accuracy.
