18.16 Spindle diagnostics

Preconditions

● A spindle has an SMI24:

r0459, bit 14 = 1.

● Drive telegram 139 is configured for the spindle.

● The spindle functionality for the machine axis is present, when:

MD35000 $MA_SPIND_ASSIGN_TO_MACHAX > 0

The value corresponds to the spindle number.

If several spindles are in operation, select the desired spindle using the "Spindle +" or

"Spindle -" softkey.

Select the "Diagnostics" operating area.

Press the menu forward key twice.

Press the "Spindle diag." softkey to obtain a data overview.

The "S1 Spindle Diagnostics" window opens.
