Address Converter
Address converter offers the function that converts address signals from each ADSP into 96 MByte of region in
total, when the address signals are within 1 MByte of region from 0x00000000 to 0x000FFFFF. The remapped
regions are from 0x04000000 to 0x05FFFFFF, from 0x08000000 to 0x09FFFFFF, and from 0x0C000000 to
0x0DFFFFFF, which are 32 MByte individually.
0x00000000 – 0x000FFFFF
Address converter can be set on each ADSP, furthermore, on 16 areas of each 64 Kbyte individually. As Figure
APP-108 indicates, address converter realizes the above conversion function that identifies areas by using input
address bit [19:16] and replaces output address bits [27:26] and [24:16] with set values against the areas. As the
conversion is performed by every 64 Kbyte, an input address less than 64 Kbyte corresponding to the input
address bit [15:0] becomes to be an output address without conversion. In addition, address signals are transferred
with no latency from input to output.
