PJL jobs from printer drivers. Raw jobs are sent to port 9100 if no LPR
queue is specified. The controller does not support raw jobs sent to any
other port.
Differences between the built in queues:
DSSC: This is the only built-in queue that supports fax. If installing
the printer driver via Point-And-Print, double-clicking this queue
name downloads the PCL6 printer driver
DSSCTAC: This is an LPR queue and cannot be browsed from
Windows. Any print job sent to this queue will be redirected to
TopAccessComposer. It can be used from a Unix system or a Windows
system as long as the printer uses a standard TCP/IP port.
GL_PS: If installing the printer driver via Point-And-Print, double-
clicking this queue downloads the PS printer driver
GL_PCL6: If installing the printer driver via Point-And-Print, double-
clicking this queue downloads the PCL6 printer driver
Any print job (PCL or PS) can be sent to any of these queues.
Each of these queues also has the following properties:
Queue Name
Duplex Printing: Enable/disable
Paper Size: Ledger, legal, letter, computer, statement, A3, A4, A5, B4,
B5, folio, 13-inch legal, 8.5-inch square, 8K, and 16K
Paper Type: Transparency, plain, tab paper, thick1, thick2, cover,
insert, special
Orientation: Portrait or landscape
Stapling: On or off
Output Tray: Tray 1 or tray 2
Points per line
PCL Font Pitch
PCL Font point Size
PCL Font Number
Banner Page: Enable/disable
