Getting Started

There are five major tasks required to configure TopAccess to meet your
unique needs:
1
Set up the administrative functions, such as password, contact
information, messages, department codes, and preferences.

Set up the copier and printer functions.
3
Configure network protocols and set up e-mail.
4
Set up scan agents and templates.
5
Upload client software to the controller so your users can install it on
their workstations.
The following topics explain administrative tasks to set up the system.
Setting the Administrator Password

Log in as an administrator.

In the Properties area, enter a five-digit administrator password for
the controller in the Administrator Password field. TopAccess requires
this password for you to log in as an administrator.

To enter a new password, type the new password over the old
password.
