Module type (NCK)
The F module type cannot be explicitly specified. The F master determines the
type depending on the machine data in which a PROFIsafe address has been en-
tered:
S $MN_PROFISAFE_IN_ADDRESS
S $MN_PROFISAFE_OUT_ADDRESS
Dependent on this, the F module is identified as either input, output or bidirectional
I/O modules.

Parameterizing the F master (PLC)
In the PLC, the F master does not have to be explicitly parameterized regarding
the connection of F modules.
The PLC is parameterized explicitly as follows:
S Parameterizing the NCK
S Generating and downloading the configuration
Data block DB18
Two bit arrays in data block DB 18 are used to display which INSEP/OUTSEP by-
tes are only assigned to F modules as a result of the parameterization in the NCK
machine data:
S MD 10388: $MN_PROFISAFE_IN_ASSIGN
S MD 10389: $MN_PROFISAFE_OUT_ASSIGN
