Figure 68 Positioning the ILP next to PE1
At the PE1 feed
3.
Mount the cover on the end of the ILP exit stepping plate assembly (Figure 67).
Push the cover mounting studs in the holes at the exit end.

To align the ILP and stepping plate assembly with the press (Figure 68):
a.
Move the ILP closer to the PE1 feed.
b.
Align the ILP exit cover side with the PE1 web entrance cover side.
c.
Make sure that the gap between the ILP exit cover and the web entrance cover at
PE1 is approximately 4-5 mm.
If not, adjust the position of the ILP until the gap between the covers is 4-5 mm.
d.
Remove all the packing material from the ILP and stepping plate assemblies.
Close the stepping plate assembly covers to prevent damage to the rollers inside.
