Configure the press software
Authorization codes
1.
Insert the authorization diskette in the floppy drive.
2.
In the Options>Authorizations window, click Import
3.
Open the A: drive and double-click the *.aut file.
All the present authorization codes in the Authorizations window change color to blue.
4.
Click Apply.
The authorizations are updated.
Click Close.

Install PIP and blankets
For the PE1 and PE2
Install PIP and blankets to the PIP and IMP drums.
Testing and calibrating the press
Emergency stop tests
1.
Verify that when the master console unit Emergency Stop button is pressed, all the following
occur:
At the press MMI and Hunkeler finishing unit touchscreen panels, the touchscreen
panels display that the units are switched to the OFF/ Stopped status.
At electrical cabinet M1, all LEDs of relays 33K0, 33K2, 33K3 33K5 and M1K1 should
be OFF.
NOTE:
At the Hunkeler finishing unit, relay PNOZ/X1 A5 must be OFF.
2.
Release the Emergency Stop button at the master console.
To manually edit the authorization codes:
1.
Open the window Options>Authorization.
2.
Select and highlight the code line to edit.
3.
Click Edit and edit the line.
4.
Click OK to accept then Close to close the window.
When the Emergency Stop button is released, the LEDs of
relay 33K0 are illuminated; all the remaining relays are OFF
and switched ON after the Control On button is pressed on
the unwinder touchscreen panel.
