4.11 Package execution
Package execution via NCU
To be observed if the Package processing is to access or run on an NCU:
To prevent errors during package execution, the NCU system state must be consistent.
Before the start of a CMC package, the NCU must be in a state in which the LEDs "RDY" and
"RUN" are lit green and the 7-segment display is displaying a 6 with flashing point.
The SINAMICS data must be consistent and match the hardware configuration.
If this state is not given before the start of a CMC commissioning package, then it can be
established by the General reset/Load default data of the individual control components.
Procedure
1. NC: S3 = 1 and OFF/ON.
2. Then S3 = 0PLC: S4 = 3 and OFF/ON.
3. Wait until run-up in 6 with flashing point (this can take several minutes) and only then carry
out the general reset request.
4. Then S4 back to 0.
5. SINAMICS: Empty the folder user/sinamics/data on the CF card and ON/OFF.

Executing the package under Windows
4.11.2.1
Executing a standard package
Precondition
If the package to be executed under Windows should also access the data of the NCU (the
"NCU" area is activated in the package), then the NCU must access a shared folder on the
Windows computer (PCU/PG/PC) on which the package is executed.
Note
If an active firewall prevents access from the NCU to the PG/PC, then the package cannot be
executed from the PG/PC.
In this case, the package can be executed on the PCU50 or the package must be deployed
as a Linux package (see Executing the package under Linux (Page 321)).
