CAUTION
Note: DC/DC converter can run on AC power supply (100–240Vac), but use it for testing.
1
Note: Fail circuit is constructed with N/C contact ("b" contact). When the IED turns on,
2
the contact is closed. When the IED is powered off, the contact will be open.
Note: The short-wire (between Terminal screws No.17 and No. 18) must be removed
3
during Dielectric voltage test (see
→p. 1154)
Note: Never remove the other short-wire (between Terminal screw No.17 and FG)
4
during Dielectric voltage test.
Note: The user should connect the Ground screw (labeled "E") with the protective earth
5
(e.g., the earthed panel). The cross-section of that wire should be AWG9 or larger.
DC power terminal
(i)
Power inlet terminal is located at No. 19 and 20. GND terminals are provided at No. 17 and
18. Table 5.6-10 shows the DC rating. Table 5.6-11 shows the rating will be determined with
an order number.

DC: 110 to 250V
DC: 87.5 to 300V
DC: 24 to 60V
DC: 19.2 to 72V

Fail terminal
(ii)
Fail signal will be outputted at Terminal screw No. 19 and 20. The signal is made of N/C contact
("b" contact).

110/125Vdc or 220/250Vdc input is available where it varies
in ±20% of DC rated (110V× 79.5% to 250V×120%).
24/48/60Vdc input is available where it varies in ±20% of
DC rated (24V× 80% to 60V×120%).
