10.2.35 Supervision of board connection (Board error)
This supervises, as it were, whether a module is properly connected (i.e., supervising the
connection of MV-BI* module, mainly. This is because the MV-BI* have binary inputs, but does
not have output circuit [except for the alarm output of fail]. See p. 651, 653, 654). Sending and
receiving signals between HMI-VCT-CPU-BIO modules are monitored by this, and a
connection error will be judged if those signals for sending and receiving are interrupted.
†Note:MV-BI3 (See p.) and MV-BI4 (See p.) are same as MV-BI1.
Error level
(i)
The error level has been set at level 1 (Serious error) in the automatic supervision. Checking
errors is carried out at any time. The manufacturer has set one second to detect a failure. The
error will be reset within a second when the failure is solved.
Error message
(ii)
When detecting an error, the error message will be shown on the LCD screen. LED will be lit
up.
