SAMSUNG DCS
TECHNICAL MANUAL
MMC: 509
DESCRIPTION:
Provides the ability to customize the tone cadence provided from the analog Trunk on a system-
wide basis. There are three(3) types of tones available through this MMC. The control of the tone
cadence may be changed from interrupt tone to continuous tone. Some DCS systems may
require default settings to comply with local operating companies. These tones are mainly used
for performing of Automatic Redial Feature depending on call progress tones on request from
internal users on a Trunk call.
Once busy tone is detected from the Central Office then the call will automatically be released
and will be queued for next trial after expiration of Autoredial Interval Timer (MMC 501).
NOTE: Consult your local Central Officer about cadences of tones to meet specifications if you
encounter any trouble during installation.
