Assigning DP slaves to groups

Definition
If you want to send the FREEZE or SYNC control commands to DP slaves in
the FB IM308C, you must arrange the DP slaves in groups.
Each group consists of at least one DP slave. Note, however, that each DP
slave can belong to several different groups.
You can form a maximum of 8 groups in each master system.
Precondition
The DP slave must be able to process the FREEZE and SYNC control
commands.
Defining group
To assign the DP slaves to groups:

DP slaves with which station numbers belong to which group. Define the
group members by double-clicking on the empty fields.
Result: The DP slaves are now assigned to between one and eight groups.
You require the group numbers when you send control commands in the
STEP 5 application program with the FB IM308C.
