Removing a Hard Disk Drive
To remove a hard disk drive from the disk bay, complete the following procedure:
1. Look at the amber LEDs above the hard disk bays to determine which
drive is bad. See Table 4-1 for information on how to interpret the LEDs.
2. Remove the plastic bezel on the front of the server.
3. Depress the drive carrier latch of the bad drive, and use the handle to pull
the assembly toward you to disengage the drive from the backplane
connector.
