a. An insufficient sample volume

c. The flow path has clogged.
d. Column performance is poor.
e. The detector or data
processor is faulty.
f. The tip of needle is deformed.
g. The needle has clogged.
h. The tip of needle is in close
contact with sample
container.
i. The sample vial is sealed (at
a negative pressure when
sipping sample).
j. The sample is viscous.

Remedy
a. Wash the flow path.
b. Check the lock nut and
retighten if loose. Or replace
the seal.
c. Wash the bottle and replace
the detergent.
d. Replace the vial or septum.
e. Replace the needle.
f. Clean the wash port (refer to
4.3.1).
g. Make sure the tube tip is not
deformed and the ferrule is not
crushed. After washing,
fasten the tube again.
Or replace the tubing parts as a
set.
h. Increase the number of WASH
times (refer to 3.2.2).
i. Remove the needle and wash
the joint. Then, reconnect the
needle (refer to 5.4).
j. Wash or replace the column.
k. Attach a cap to the sample vial.
Wash the vial detection lever.
a. Increase the sample volume.
b. Check the lock nut and
retighten if loose. Or replace
the seal.
c. Replace the tubing.
d. Wash or replace the column.
e. Make sure operation is
appropriate. Then, replace
the relevant unit with a new
one.
f. Replace the needle.
g. Clean the needle. Or replace
the needle, container or
septum.
h. Correct the Z coordinate in rack
parameters.
i. Use a slit septum.

j. Slow syringe speed (refer to
3.2.2). Or dilute the sample.
