Working with the acceptance test wizard

Available test types/setting ranges

In the left-hand section of the acceptance test basic screen, the test types (switch-off signal

path, external stops, SPL inputs/outputs, etc.) of the SI functions, currently configured in the

system, are displayed in a selection list. Test instances can only be created for these – or tests

carried out for these.

Safety Integrated functions

With the acceptance test, tests can be carried out with safety functions integrated in the system

(SINUMERIK Safety Integrated) as well as for axes with safety functions integrated in the drives

(SINAMICS Basic and Extended Functions). The test results for both versions are included in

the certificate that is finally generated.

Access rights

In order that the acceptance test can be started, for all of the components within the scope of

the SI functions to be tested (NC, drive) access rights that permit changes to be made to

machine data and parameters must be active.
