3-6. Removing/Moving the Fixed Parts at
Shipment
3-6-1. Removing/Installing the Shipping
Plate A of the Counter Weight
1. Open the door. (Refer to Section 3-2-2.)
2. Remove the four screws. Then, remove the shipping
plate A. (Fig.1)
3. Install the removed shipping plate A as shown in Fig.2
to prevent it from being lost.

Fix shipping plate A through the round holes. Do not
fix it through the oval holes.

The shipping plate A can be installed on the rear panel
of PDJ-A640. (Refer to Section 3-6-3.)

3-6-2. Moving the Shipping Plate B on the
Elevator Block
1. Open the door. (Refer to Section 3-2-2.)
2. Remove the two screws A.
3. Loosen the two screws B. Move the shipping plate B
in the direction of the arrow, and tighten the two
screws B. (Fig.1, Fig.2)

. Move the shipping plate B until the screws B reach
the edge of the slits on the shipping plate B, and then
tighten the two screws B.
. Install the removed two screws A as shown in Fig.2
to prevent them from being lost.
. The shipping plate B can be removed and installed
on the rear panel of PDJ-A640. (Refer to Section 3-
6-3.)
