Dynamic
Range
Selects
the dynamic
range
adjustment
method
for audio
bit stream
(Dolby
Digital
and
DTS) signal
playback.
Settings
Maximum
(Default)
Produces
audio without adjusting
the dynamic
range.
Standard
Adjusts the dynamic
range for optimum volume for regular home use.
(Minimum)
Sets the dynamic
range suitable
for low volume or a quiet
environment,
such as at night, for bit stream signals except for Dolby
Minimum/Auto
TrueHD signals.
(Auto) Adjusts the dynamic
range for Dolby TrueHD signals based on
input signal information.
Max Volume
Specifies
the maximum
volume
level that is adjustable
with VOLUME
on the remote
control
or VOLUME
on the front
panel.
Setting range
-30.0 dB to +15.0 dB (5.0 dB increments),
+16.5 dB
Default setting
+16.5 dB
Initial Volume
Sets the initial
volume
for when
the receiver
is turned
on.
Settings
The volume is set at the level when the receiver last entered standby
Off (Default)
mode.
Makes the initial volume Mute or -80 dB to +16.5 dB (0.5 dB
On
increments).
(This setting is only available
when setting a volume lower
than Max Volume.)
