9.
Open the fl at-top chain
belt (chain coupling
under fl at-top plate
with hole).
10.
Pull the chain back from
the drive heads.
11.
Remove the power train
from the bearing shells.
12.
Remove the fl ange from
the transmission.
13.
Remove the
transmission from the
drive shaft.
Install the new
transmission and belt
section in reverse order.
Please note:
• The end faces of the
motor and transmission
must be undamaged.
• The transmission hub
comes lubricated with
anti-seize lubricant.
• Do not tilt the motor
and make sure it has the
necessary clearance area
for installation.
• Install the motor in
the proper orientation
(terminal box) and
connect it to the
transmission.
• If the motor is not in the
proper orientation: Do
NOT rotate the motor.
Disconnect the motor
from the transmission
and reconnect it.
