5) APD OFF/ON
Used to switch the APD (Auto Power-Down) mode between ON and OFF.
The APD mode is used to automatically perform stop processing and turn off the
power supply to the recorder when the higher priority power supply is stopped with
a back-up power source present.
This mode is valid for the power supply connections noted below:

Note
When APD mode is ON, a microscopic current flows even when the recorder
power is OFF. If the recorder is left for a long time in this condition, the battery
will completely discharge.
• When APD mode is OFF, if the higher priority power supply is stopped, the
recorder enters the battery back-up mode and continues operation as long as
there is a charge remaining in the battery, yet the operation way end abnormally.
6) IRIG ON/OFF
Set this switch to ON to record the IRIG (IRIG-B time code) signal onto the AUX
analog channel. Set to OFF to input analog signals other than IRIG signal.
7) MST/SLV
Used to set the recorder to master or slave for synchronous operation.
8) %/dB
Used to switch the bar meter scale to percentage or dB.
