TROUBLESHOOTING

When the main switch is turned to "ON", the immobilizer system indicator light does not come on nor
flashes.
1. Check the fuses.
(Main, ignition and backup)

SELF-DIAGNOSIS FAULT CODE INDICATION

When a system failure occurrs, the error code number is indicated in the LCD display of meter and the
immobilizer system indicator light blinks at the same time. The pattern of blinking also shows the error
code.

A. If the immobilizer system indicator light
stops flashing 5 seconds after the first stan-
dard key is registered, the second standard
key cannot be registered.

Replace the fuse(s).
Clean the battery terminals.
