Assigns the function to each pin of the PARALLEL REMOTE connector when Parallel Remote
is set to On.
1 Pin: [CH01]
2 Pin: [CH02]
3 Pin: [External Sync]
4 Pin: [Mono]
5 Pin: [Marker]
6 Pin: [unused]
7 Pin: [unused]
8 Pin: [Tally]
You can change the assignment to the following functions for pins 1 to 8.
Parallel Remote (1/4)
CH01 to 30: Selects a channel number. Enter the desired channel number with the
numeric buttons.
----: Unused
Under Scan: The under scan function. When it is set to off, the scan mode is set to
Normal Scan.
Over Scan: The over scan function. When it is set to off, the scan mode is set to Normal
Scan.
Native Scan: The native scan function
16:9: The 16:9 aspect ratio function. When it is set to off, the aspect ratio is set to 4:3.
The aspect ratio may be fixed to 16:9 due to the signal format. For details, see "Available
Signal Formats" on page 93.
H Delay: The horizontal sync display function
V Delay: The vertical sync display function
External Sync: The synchronization function to external sync signals
Comb: The comb filter function. When it is set to off, the trap · band-pass filter (Trap/
BPF) is selected.
You can select the type of comb filter in NTSC Comb Filter menu (page 54) of the Display
Setting menu.
Parallel Remote (2/4)
Aperture: The aperture modification function
Mono: The monochrome display function
Blue Only: The function by which red and green signals are cut and only the blue signal
is displayed as a monochrome picture
R Off: The cutting function of red signals
G Off: The cutting function of green signals
B Off: The cutting function of blue signals
Chroma Up: 12 dB up function of the chroma setting value
Black Frame Insertion: The display function in black frame insertion mode
Interlace: The display function in interlace mode
Tally: The function to turn on the tally lamp
Parallel Remote (3/4)
Marker: The display function of all markers set in the Marker Setting menu
Aspect Marker: The display function of the aspect marker set in the Marker Setting
menu
Area Marker 1: The display function of the area marker 1 set in the Marker Setting menu
Area Marker 2: The display function of the area marker 2 set in the Marker Setting menu
Side by Side: The side by side function
Power Off: The monitor power function
Parallel Remote (4/4)
Black Detail Mode: The display function in black detail mode

Sets the status of the monitor when the main power is turned on or the power is turned on by
remote operation.
Sets the status when the MAIN POWER switch is turned on.
[Off]: Operation mode
