6.4.15 Discharge Conveyor - Adjust Belt
Tracking
If the discharge belt runs toward one side of
the conveyor or the other the tracking must
be adjusted before the belt is damaged.
1. Loosen the nose roller jamnuts on the
discharge end of the conveyor.
2. Turn the adjusting screws in or out to
bring the belt back to the center of the
rollers.
3. Adjust one side at a time in small
increments and allow time for the belt to
react.
4. Tighten the jam nuts securely once the
belt is tracking properly.

6.4.16 Discharge Conveyor - Adjust
Belt Tension
The belt must have enough tension so that it
will not slip on the rollers. Avoid excessive
tension.
1. Loosen four capscrews on each side at
the endseal end of the conveyor.
2. Slide the conveyor out to tension the
belt.
3. Tighten the capscrews.
