Remote Management
To setup the LAN environment:
1
Open Network, Properties and then click the Protocols tab.

Click Add.

In the Select Network Protocol window, select Point To Point Tunneling Protocol in
Network Protocol, and click OK.

Set Number of Virtual Private Networks, and click OK.

In the Setup Message dialog box, click OK.

From the Add RAS Device window, select RAS Capable Devices and then click OK.

Click Configure.

In the Configure Port Usage window, select the Dial out only check box of Port
Usage, and then click OK.

In the Remote Access Setup dialog box, click Network.

In the Network Configuration window, select the TCP/IP check box of Dial Out
Protocols, and then click OK.

In the Remote Access Setup dialog box, click Continue.

In the Network dialog box, verify that "Point To Point Tunneling Protocol" has been
added, and then click Close.

Open My Computer and then double-click Dial-Up Networking to start Dial-Up
Networking.

In the New Phonebook Entry Wizard window, enter the name of a new telephone
directory entry name, and then click Next.
