MODEM DAUGHTER BOARD
The modem daughter board installs in a dedicated slot on the MP20 card. The baud rate supported is 19,200 bps
using OfficeServ Installation Tool software. The modem daughter board is used for remote programming when a
broadband connection is not available.

2.2.2 MEDIA CARDS

An OfficeServ 7200 system must have a media card installed in the MEDIA CARD slot in the main control proces-
sor (MP20). The media card contains the system operating software, a backup customer database file, and back-
up copies of the software for the LCP, and TEPRI/TEPRIa cards. The media card can be either a Secure Digital (SD)
type media or a Multimedia (MMC+) type media.
Note: The SD media card has a write protect switch that will prevent a backup if in read only position.

2.3 INTERFACE CARDS

These cards provide the interface connections for telephone lines and stations to the KSU and expansion cabi-
nets. These cards fit into the universal card slots to configure the system as required.

2.3.1 TRUNK CARDS

8TRK2 BOARD
This card contains eight loop start C.O. line interface circuits with C.O. disconnect detection. It also contains the
circuitry needed for Caller ID. It can be inserted in any universal card slot in all cabinets.
16TRK BOARD
This cards contains sixteen loop start C.O. line interface circuits with C.O. disconnect detection. It also contains the
circuitry needed for Caller ID. It can be inserted in any universal card slot in either cabinet.
TEPRIa DIGITAL TRUNK BOARD
When programmed as a T1 this card provides up to 24 trunk circuits in any combination of the following:
Loop start lines
DID (Direct Inward Dialing)
Ground start lines
E & M tie lines or two way DID calling
When the card is programmed as a PRI it will provide 23 bearer channels and 1 data channel (23B+D). This card
can be installed in slots 3, 4, and 5 of main cabinet and slot 3 in the expansion cabinet. This card is also used for
networking to other systems (QSig/PRI networking)*. A maximum of 4 TEPRI/TEPRIa boards can be installed per
system.
