Entering a New
Authorization Key

Viewing Enabled Features
The radio's Authorization Code/Key determines which of the radio's
available features are active when it is shipped from the factory. A check
can be made of these features by viewing the Authorization Codes Menu
(Figure 72). It lists the available features and shows which ones are
active (

The transceiver's feature set may be expanded (if all features are not
currently enabled) by entering a new authorization key, which may be
purchased from GE MDS. Contact the factory to obtain a new Authori-
zation Key.
To enter the key, proceed as follows:
