Registering a Bluetooth headset

Only available for Gigaset SX3x3isdn.
Have the Headset PIN to hand when registering the headset. You will find
i
a detailed description of the registration procedure in the headset oper-
ating instructions.

Double-click Configuration in Folder List.
This displays the dialogues available.
ì
Click register.
This opens the Register cordless devices tab.
ì
Click Bluetooth headset.
The base station then starts looking for a headset ready for registration. The Find
dialogue shows the remaining duration of the search (maximum 60 seconds) in a
progress bar.
ì
Launch the registration procedure with the headset.
When the base station has found the headset, the PIN entry dialogue appears.
ì
Enter your headset PIN. The PIN can be from 1 to 16 characters long. You can enter
both letters and digits.
ì
Confirm your entry with OK.
This opens the register dialogue. The headset's Bluetooth connection name
appears.
ì
You can change the Bluetooth connection name if you want.
The maximum length of the Bluetooth connection name is 16 characters.
ì
Confirm successful registration with OK.
This activates the Bluetooth connection between your base station and the headset.
The headset appears in the device list of the Bluetooth devices tab in the DECT
devices dialogue.
