Symptom
There
is no sound
from
the
subwoofer.
There
is no digital

the HDMI

The system does not output

Problems
and solutions
• Check the speaker connections
and settings
(pages 21,53).
• Set [Control for HDMI]
in IHDMI Settings]

(page 63). Also, set [Audio Return
Channel]
in [HDMI Settings]
of [System
Settings]
to [Auto] (page 63).
• Make sure that your TV is compatible
with the Audio Return Channel
function.
• Make sure that an HDMI cable is connected
to a jack on your TV that is
compatible
with the Audio Return Channel
function.
• The sampling
frequency
of' the input stream is more than 48 kHz.
• Set [Audit) Return
Channel]
in [HDMI Settings]
of [System
Settings]
to [Off]
(page 52).
• Check that the connecting
cords are away from a transl'omler
or motor, and at
least 10 feet (3 meters) away from your TV set or a fluorescent
light.
• Move your TV away from the audio components.
• Clean the disc.
• Select stereo sound by pressing
AUDIO
(page 41 ).
• Check the surround
setting (page 33).
• Check the speaker connections

• Depending
on the BD/DVD,
the output signal may not be the entire 5.1 channeh
