For the surround
amplifier
For the S-AIR receiver
When using S-AIR products,
neighbors
may
also receive your system's
sound if IDs are the
same, or you may receive sound fiom neighbors.
To prevent this, you can identity
the unit with a
specific S-AIR sub unit by performing
the
pairing operation.
When you perform
pairing,
wireless
transmission
is activated
between the paired
main unit and S-AIR sub unit only.

Place the S-AIR sub unit that you want
to pair near the unit.

Match the IDs of the unit and the S-AIR
sub unit.
• To set the ID of the unit, see "To set the ID
of the unit" (page 46).
• To set the ID of the surround amplifier,
see "To set the ID of the surround
amplifier"
(page 46).
• To set the ID of the S-AIR receiver, refer
to the operating
instructions
of the S-AIR
receiver.

Press
HOME.
The home menu appears on the TV screen.

Press <--/-)to select _
[Setup].

Press 4"14, t o select [System Settings],
then press @.

Press 4"14,to select [S-AIR Settings],
then press @.
The [S-AIR Settings]
display appears.

Press 4"/4, to select [Pairing], then
press @.

Start pairing of the S-AIR sub unit.
• For the surround amplifier
Press I/_) on the surround amplifier to turn
on the surround amplifier
and press
PAIRING
on the rear panel of the surround
amplifier.
(To press PAIRING,
a slim

used.)
• For the S-AIR receiver
Refer to the operatiug
iustructious
of the
S-AIR receiver.
Press <--/+to select [Start], then press
@.
The unit starts pairing.
The PAIRING
indicator of the surround
amplifier flashes when pairing starts.
When wireless transmission
is activated,
the PAIRING
indicator of the surround
amplifier turns on.
To cancel pairing,
select [Cancel].
• Perform pairing within several minutes of Step
9. If you do not, [Pairing failed. Retry'?] appears
on the TV screen. To continue pairing, select
[OK] and press @, then start again from Step 8.

Chauge the ID of the maiu aud sub uuit
(page 46).
You can check the S-AIR status such as the
S-AIR ID or pairing information.

[Setup].

Press 4"14,to select [S-AIR Settings],
then press @.
The [S-AIR Settings]
display appears.
The S-AIR ID of the unit appears on the
[Into] line. When the unit is paired,
[Pairing] appears alter the ID.
Press RETURN.
The system returus to the previous display.
