* The Flash Meter is used to measure the guide number. However,

To adjust the flash intensity (guide number) in the manual flash mode (Lo-1/4).

<Adjustment Method>
(1) Adjusting by the Flash Meter
1. Set the flash to ZOOM position: 35mm, and flash mode: M Lo 1/4.
2. Set the Flash Meter in front of the standard reflector.
3. Light the flash at a distance of 2.1m, and read the F value of the Flash
Meter.
4. Adjust VR5 so that the F value of at this time is 8.0 + 0.5F.
G-No = 16.8 + (distance) 2.1 m=
F8.0
(2) Adjusting by the Multi-camera Tester
1. Set the multi-camera tester as follows, and cover the light source with
black paper, etc.
ISO: 100, K: 12.5, EV: 6
2. In the manual mode, set the camera aperture to {/8.0, and the shutter
speed to 1/60.
3. Set the multi-camera tester sensor on the camera (with 540EZ attached),
and shoot the standard reflector from a distance of 2.1m.
4. Adjust VR5 so that the multi-camera tester readout at this time is OL0.5F.
