General Introduction

1.1

Purpose

This manual provides a description of all external interfacing facilities provided by the DCN Congress System
from version 7.0 onwards. This includes file formats, descriptions of printouts, logging outputs, API calls and
the DCN DDE server and chip card production.
1.2

Scope

This manual is intended for developers who want to create software and/or hardware that interfaces with the
DCN system.

DCN Application Interface. A set of functions used to manipulate the
current delegate information set used by DCN.
Delegate identification number. A number in the range 1-1000 (single
CCU) or 1-1500 (multi-CCU) that identifies the delegate in the
delegate database. Each delegate has a unique ID-number.
