When an error occurs in the L3 CPU module, it must be analyzed to remove the cause,
and error reset operation must be conducted before rebooting of the CPU module. There
are two error reset methods:
• Error reset by the engineering tool
• Error reset by the mode switch
Error reset by the engineering tool
(1) Choose Station Configuration in the Product View of the engineering tool. The
Configuration Editor screen appears.
(2) From the menu on the Configuration Editor screen, open View menu, and choose
Control Panel.
(3) Choose Operation Status from the menu on the Control Panel screen.
(4) Select Primary/Secondary of the Control Command, choose Error Reset, and click
OK.
Error reset by the mode switch
(1) Change the mode switch setting from "RUN" to "HALT" to "RUN". The L3 CPU
module is then booted in the HALT mode.
(2) When the operation (1) is repeated again, the CPU starts running the program.
NOTE
If the error has not been corrected, the above error reset operation will result in error status
again. In such a case, completely correct the error, and carry out error rest operation again.
