Environmental Conditions
Avoid installing the L3 controller in any location where:
• the ambient temperature can fall out of the range between 0
• the relative humidity can fall out of the range between 20% and 90%;
• condensation can occur due to rapid temperature change;
• equipment can be exposed to vibrations exceeding the allowable limit;
• equipment can be exposed to the impact exceeding the allowable limit;
• there is corrosive gas or flammable gas (sulfur dioxide content must be 0.05 ppm or
less, and hydrogen sulfide content be 0.01 ppm or less);
• there is dust (the amount of dust must not exceed 0.1 mg/m
particles;
• the equipment is exposed to direct sunlight.
• Do not use the L3 controller under any environment condition given above. Malfunction or
failure can be caused.
• Do not use the L3 controller when alarm signal is generated due to internal temperature rise.
Malfunction, failure, smoking or fire can be caused.
When installing a console in which the L3 controller is mounted, observe the following.
• Install the console away as far from a high-voltage panel or power panel as possible.
• When there is a high-frequency device or facility nearby, ground the console properly.
If it is necessary to use a transceiver etc., use it with 1 W or lower power, at a position
1 m or more away from the L3 controller.
• If the channel base is shared with other panels, confirm that there is no leak current
from other panels or the L3 controller.

To ensure stable operation of the system, high-quality power supply is essential.

Rated voltage: 100/200 Vac
Frequency: 50/60 Hz
Distortion rate: 5% or less
Power requirement: 175 W or less
Allowable instantaneous interruption: 20 ms min.
Power conditions (DC)
Rated voltage: 24 Vdc
Ripple: 2% or less
Allowable instantaneous interruption: 1 ms
