How to Change the Characteristics of a Terminal

Inserting and Connecting a Terminal With the Mouse
You can insert a new terminal into a port and connect it in one single step:
1 Position the cursor on the connector you wish to use.
2 Press the left mouse button. Hold the mouse button depressed and drag
the cursor (which changes its shape) onto a suitable input or output
port.
The upper border line of the first terminal changes its color.
3 Drag the cursor downwards.
Observe how one terminal border after the other becomes illuminated.
4 Release the mouse button.
If you drop the cursor on a terminal, that terminal is connected.
If you drop the cursor on a terminal border, a new terminal is inserted at
that position and immediately connected.
Connecting a Terminal With the Keyboard
To connect a terminal with the keyboard:
1 Open the terminal's context menu.
2 Choose Connect.
3 Enter the identifier of the desired channel: ClockgroupNumber,
ModuleNumber, and ConnectorNumber.
4 Confirm with Enter.

How to Disconnect a Terminal

To disconnect a terminal:
1 Open the terminal's context menu.
2 Choose Disconnect.
3 Confirm.
To disconnect all terminals of a port, choose Disconnect from the port's
context menu.
