P04 - Display, LED and buzzer test

(Wiring diagram, page 120)
Both displays are dark when the test starts. Then the displays light up in sequence, begin-
ning with the outermost character. The following characters are lit in the same way until all
segments are on. The ready and exposure LED's light up in sequence and the test ends
with an exposure beep. The sequence is repeated after a short time. When ending the
test with the lamp button, the displays returns to P04 mode.

P06 - Capacitor formation

(Wiring diagram, page 130)
This program is used only if the unit has not been operated for several months or if several
capacitors have been replaced. The capacitors are slowly charged up to 353 V in a con-
trolled sequence. The test program starts by displaying:
kV
CAP For = Capacitor formation program
After a short time, the program displays the actual voltage in the capacitor bank:
kV
CAP 150 = 150 V.
The voltage value is increased approximately every six minutes. The charging sequence
increases as follows:
150-250-299-325-337-345-348-351-353 V. At the 353 V level, charging will continue for
another 48 minutes to decrease and stabilize the capacitors internal leakage current.
If an error is detected during the formation program, the program is aborted. When the
program is aborted, there is a beep and a message is displayed:
kV
P06 Err"xx" = See actual "xx" in separate message list
If the formation ends successfully, the display will show:
kV
P06 PASS = Capacitor formation completed
Duration: approx. 100 minutes.
