1. Assemble equipment and locate modules to be removed:
a. You will need a screwdriver with a size T-9 TorxR tip and a
driver to do this procedure.
b. Locate the modules to be removed in the locator diagram, Internal
Modules, in Figure 6–4.
2. Remove front-panel knob: Do the Front-panel Knob procedure, on
page 6–16.
3. Remove front cover, trim ring, and menu buttons: Do the Front Cover, Trim
Ring, and Menu Buttons procedure on page 6–20.
4. Orient instrument: Set the AWG2021 with the top down on the work surface
and the right side facing you.
5. Remove connector module:
a. Disconnect the interconnect cable at the CH1 Waveform Output
connector. See Figure 6–14. For an AWG2021 with Option 02,
disconnect the interconnect cable at the CH2 Waveform Output
connector.
