Setting the TAKE button:
The TAKE function can be set to any selection button.
1. Use the cursor keys to select a source key.
2. Press [T] to set the TAKE button. TAKE is displayed
for the button set with the TAKE function.

Type+Num mode.

Setting the monitor button:
The monitor function can be set to any selection button.
1. Use the cursor keys to select a source key.
2. Press [M] to set the monitor button. MONI is dis-
played for the button set with the monitor function.

The monitor function monitors selection information in a
destination by setting MONITOR DESTINATION of
menu Z. The function always automatically selects the set
destination and the same source. For more information,
refer to the Z menu.
Setting the VTR control function:
EJECT, REC, REW, PLAY, F FWD, or STOP functions
can be set to any selection button and used to control the
VTR from the control panel.
1. Use the cursor keys to select a source key.
2. Press [V] to enter setting mode for the VTR control
function.
3. A list of operations is displayed on the bottom of the
screen. Enter the number 0 to 5 corresponding to the
operation that you want to set.

Setting the LEVEL key:
A level can be set to any selection button, allowing it to be
used as a LEVEL button.
1. Use the cursor keys to select a source key.
2. Press [E] to enter setting mode for the level control
button.
3. A list of level control buttons is displayed on the
bottom of the screen. Enter the number 0 to the letter Z
corresponding to the LEVEL that you want to set.
