Instructions for Assembly and Operation
The power data for PSU 5100/PSU 5300 = 50 kW and PSU 5200 = 100 kW are
calculated from the respective continuous current (110 A and 220 A) and the 500 V
output voltage of the inverters.
PSU 5100 / PSU 5300: P ≈ 110 A x 500 V ≈ 50 kW
PSU 5200: P ≈ 220 A x 500 V ≈ 100 kW
The devices are rated for this load, i.e. the copper bars, connection terminals, elec-
trolyte capacitors are rated accordingly.
For comparing different inverters, it will not be sufficient to verify the peak current
(e.g. 20 kA); instead, the respective continuous loads have to be compared.
PSG integration time: 60s
ED (duty cycle) [%]
Diode integration time: 2 s
The load curves represent ab-
solute limit values. For a re-
liable continuous operation, we
recommend utilizing these limit
values by no more than 80%.
