ePS Network Services, Function Manual (FH) - 03/2012
Description
Name of the PLC trace: Can be entered by the user.
If the field remains empty, or the name is deleted,
ePS will enter the name: Execute and upload PLC
trace.
Displays the remaining memory in the DB for ad-
dressing variables in the PLC.
Shows the remaining memory in the DB of the PLC
for recording the variables status. The memory re-
quirement is directly related to the number of cycles
to be recorded.
Note:
If the remaining memory is insufficient for the current
definition of a trace, you can save the control monitor
inactively in the system. To make it possible to acti-
vate it, you must free up memory by deactivating one
or more of the control monitors.
Shows how much performance is left in the PLC
cycle time for PLC triggers and PLC conditions.
See also Section: Fault services
Since data blocks must be used in the PLC for the
configuration of PLC traces, these must be specified
in the PLC settings for ePS Network Services. If this
has not been done in the PLC settings or needs to be
checked again, it is possible to branch directly from
here for this purpose.
Shows the PLC variables with absolute addresses
(not symbolic addresses), which are to be recorded
in the trace, or for which additional programming can
be carried out.
Note:
The PLC variables to be recorded are selected in the
same way as PLC triggers/conditions.

used to determine the number of cycles before the
