CIS home position sensor (S1)
(1)
Take off the original glass.
P.6-16 "6.7.1 Original glass"

Remove 1 screw and take off the CIS home
position sensor with the bracket.
(3)
Release 2 latches, take off the CIS home
position sensor, release the harness from
harness clamp and disconnect 1 connector.

Platen sensor (S2)
(1)
Take off the scanner top cover.

Remove 1 screw and take off the sensor with
the bracket.
(3)
Disconnect 1 harness clamp and 1
connector.
