If you enter a wrong digit, delete it by using CLEAR.
Then lift the handset.
The R key allows you to use various services offered by the
telephone service provider (call waiting, toggling calls,
etc.). Contact your telephone service provider for more
information.
Please note that you cannot dial a "+" for the international
prefix.
If you have not connected your fax machine to the mains, it
will not function at all - even for making telephone calls.
Dial the desired number.
Lift the handset. If you want to dial with the handset
replaced press DIAL/z. As soon as the other party answers,
lift the handset and speak.
With PP you can redial the last five numbers or e-mail ad-
dresses you have dialled previously.
Press PP.
Press u until the desired number or e-mail address
appears on the display. If you want to edit the number or e-
mail address press OK and make the desired changes.
Lift the handset or press DIAL/z.
With CLEAR you can delete the numbers or e-mail addresses
you do not need anymore from the redial memory.
Press PP and then CLEAR.
Choose with u whether to delete only the last number
displayed or all five numbers.
Press OK to execute the cancel command.

There are short dialling keys available, which you can use to store
numbers or e-mail addresses you dial frequently.
Press n for two seconds.
Choose a number between 0 and 9.
Open the flap on the operation panel and enter a name
using the e-mail keyboard. Press OK.
Enter the telephone number or e-mail address and confirm
with OK.
Press n and choose a number between 0 and 9.
The stored name or telephone number or e-mail address
appears on the display. In order to edit the number or the e-
mail address press OK and make the desired changes.
Lift the handset. In case you want to send a fax message,
press START.
Press n and select an entry by using the number keys
between 0 and 9.The stored name, number or e-mail
adress appears on the display.
Press nfor two seconds and select wrong character
with u.
Press CLEAR. The sign left to the cursor will be deleted.
Enter desired character and confirm with OK.
Press n and then a key between 0 and 9. The
stored name or telephone number appears on the display.
Press CLEAR. Select with u whether to actually delete
entry.
Press OK to confirm thedeletion of the entry.
The telephone book function on your fax machine has a capacity
for about 200 numbers and names. The exact figure depends on
the length of each entry. You can also store numbers during a
telephone conversation.
