5. Installing the camera
Important notes and advice:
•
Before installation, you are advised to check that your WiFi network signal is accessible and
of sufficient quality in the place where you wish to install your camera.
• The installation and use of the camera must comply with current laws.
• Your camera is exclusively powered by the mains adaptor included, which provides 100-240 VAC
50/60 Hz / 5 VDC 1 A.
5.1. Ceiling mounting (optional)
If you wish to install your Philips WelcomeEye Look camera on the ceiling, the textile-covered front
portion of the device can be turned around for aesthetic reasons:

1. Carefully insert a slotted screwdriver into the back of the camera to push the textile-covered
front portion outward. Do the same on the other side.
