EQUIPMENT FAILURE — Unity Network MC, IX and RX
network connections must be made in order to successfully power
up the ApexPro Telemetry Server.
All the following connections are ethernet-based, and require a RJ-45 parallel cable
connection.

ApexPro Telemetry Server ping functionality on the Unity Network IX network is
disabled when the firewall is enabled. See
Connect the Unity Network MC network drop cable RJ-45 to the Unity Network
MC network port on the back of the ApexPro Telemetry Server.
Connect the Unity Network IX network drop cable to the Unity Network IX network
port on the back of the ApexPro Telemetry Server.
Connect the ApexPro Telemetry Server Unity Network RX network ethernet port to
the ApexPro receiver subsystem ethernet port as indicated above.
The ApexPro Telemetry Server requires a dedicated connection to the ApexPro
receiver subsystem.
If the distance between the ApexPro Telemetry Server and the ApexPro
Receiver Subsystem is less than 100 meters (328 ft.), connect the devices point-
to-point with a crossover cable (null modem) connection.
If the distance is greater than 100 meters (328 ft.), use either an additional hub
or use a fiber optic cable.
