ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING THE OPTICAL ENGINE UNIT

• To prevent electrostatic breakdown, be sure to ground your
body and work bench. (Refer to " Grounding for electro-
static breakdown prevention" on p.2.)
• Following cleaning tool is recommended.
If it is not available, select the item equivalent to it. Note
that it is not supplied as service tool.

1 Removal of Front Ring and Inner Ring
a. Remove 3 screws marked [
(Fig. 1)
b. Remove the Front Ring and the Inner Ring. (Fig. 1)
2 Removal of Projection Lens and Zoom & Focus Mo-
tor Ass'y
a. Remove connectors CB876 and CB877. (Fig. 2)
b. Raise the optical engine so that the projection lens look
upward.
c. Remove 4 screws marked [

b. 光学エンジンを起こして、投影レンズが上に向くように
置きます。
