6.5 Connecting the heating elements and three-phase line supply

External lightning protector
NOTICE
An external lightning protector must be connected in the 24 V DC supply line:
Dehn, "Blitzductor BVT" type AD24, No. 918402 (or equivalent).
If other lightning protectors are used, you must ensure that the types are equivalent (check
with the manufacturer of the lightning protector).
The lightning protector must be installed and used in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions.
With a lightning protector, the following interference immunity is achieved:
1.0 kV symmetrical with Ri = 2 Ω; evaluation criterion B
Without a lightning protector, the following interference immunity is achieved:
0.5 kV symmetrical with Ri = 2 Ω; evaluation criterion B
0.5 kV asymmetrical with Ri = 12 Ω; evaluation criterion B

6.5.1

Connecting the three-phase line supply

In the case of POM4320 for busbar mounting, the network infeed is via a 3-phase busbar
system. See Section Busbar mounting (Page 34).
In the case of POM4320 for panel mounting, the network infeed is via three screw terminals
L1 / L2 / L3. The position of the screw terminals on the POM is shown in Section Function
and design (Page 20).
