8.1
No firmware update via powerconfig
With powerconfig V3.12, V3.13, V3.14 and V3.15, no firmware update is offered for
7KN Powercenter 3000. The firmware can be updated via the web user interface. See Web
user interface (Page 46).
8.2
Version management between powerconfig and 7KN
POWERCENTER 3000
The functional scope of both 7KN Powercenter 3000 and powerconfig is constantly
increasing.
This is reflected by the different versions.
Once created, setup data can continue to be used from one version to the next.
The conversion to the current version, e.g. due to software/firmware updates, is done
automatically for both powerconfig and 7KN Powercenter 3000.
Newer powerconfig versions support already installed 7KN Powercenter 3000 versions.
The latest 7KN Powercenter 3000 versions require the corresponding powerconfig version.
Independent of this, individual settings can be configured via the Web user interface of 7KN
Powercenter 3000.
