Fault rectification
The complexity of digitalization requires that faults are handled in a specific way.
Here, you will find some instructions.
Fault
Device is not working (LEDs off).
No communication possible
Inexplicable display on the web
user interface
Restricted communication on the
External Ethernet interface
(Page 37).
No MindSphere communication

Possible measures
Check the 24 V DC supply
Check the fuse protection of the 24 V DC supply
Check the status on the LEDs. See Operating displays of the devices (Page 15).
Check communication activities on the interfaces. See Data interfaces (Page 16).
Connect powerconfig with one of the Ethernet interfaces and search using the
search functions.
Ethernet → 7KN Powercenter 3000 in the same subnet are found
Extended IP search → Gradually expand the search criteria.
Ping the default IP addresses 192.168.0.2 to X1P1 and 192.168.1.2 to X2P1
Switch the device off and on again (Page 34).
See Widget library, under Reset layout.
Empty the browser cache with CTRL-F5 or SHIFT-F5.
Check the browser version (see Contents of the web user interface (Page 47)) and
update if necessary.
Check the firewall whitelist settings.
Check the status of the services. See Settings → Actions "Services".
Is the write protection for the web user interface activated? See Settings → Gen-
eral, Area "External communication (X1P1) Web server write protection". See Se-
curity performance features on the external Ethernet interface (Page 39).
Router problems when accessing the Internet, e.g. are the IP address and subnet
mask correct?
IP address and network mask correct?
Is the MindSphere service activated? See Settings → Actions in the Web user inter-
face.
Port 433 on the firewall is not enabled?
Tips:
1. In the web user interface in the 7KN Powercenter 3000, at the top in Project →
VALUES → Diagnostics → Internet connection available: yes/no?
2. In Settings → Cloud → MindSphere, run "Test connection to MindSphere". If nec-
essary, perform
the onboarding process, Onboarding with 7KN POWERCENTER 3000 (Page 65).
