14 Maintenance
NOTICE
Ensure that the IP degree of protection remains during maintenance!
14.1 Regular maintenance tasks
The UPS is maintenance-free. However, a few parts are subject to wear and have
to be replaced after a certain number of operating hours.
Check all plug and terminal connections of the components for proper tight-

ness and possible damage at least annually.
Check that no cables are broken or pinched
●
Replace damaged parts immediately
●
14.2 Storing the UPS
The reference value for the storage time is one year at an average ambient tem-
perature of +20 °C.

Causes and troubleshooting
Cable not connected

Possible causes:
The battery temperature exceeded the limit of 65 °C.
●
Check the mounting and ensure that the ambient temper-
atures allowed remains within its tolerances.
Charging condition of the battery falls below 5%. Connect
●
the UPS to the voltage supply to charge the battery.
Loss of IP degree of protection due to incorrect
maintenance.
