4.5.3.1 Replacing an ECC800e

Prerequisites
Context
The ECC800e is installed on the rear and top of the Converged Cabinet.
Procedure
Step 1 Remove the cables from the ECC800e.
After removing cables, wrap exposed terminals with insulation tape and do not block cable
labels. If cable labels are blocked, cables may be connected incorrectly.
Step 2 Remove the faulty ECC800e from the cabinet.
Step 3 Remove the mounting ears from the faulty ECC800e and install them on the new ECC800e.
Step 4 Reconnect the cables to the ECC800e.

4.5.3.2 Replacing a CIM

Step 1 Clear the network parameters for all the BIMs managed by the CIM to be replaced.
Step 2 Remove cables from the CIM.

For devices connected to the RS485 port on the ECC800e, set parameters by referring to
3.2.6.4 Commissioning a T/H Sensor
For devices connected to the AI/DI ports on the ECC800e, set parameters by referring to
3.2.6.3 Commissioning a Door Status Sensor
Recommended tools: Phillips screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver
An ECC800e needs to be replaced.
A spare ECC800e of the same model is available and functional.
If the CIM is damaged, manually clear the network parameters for all the BIMs managed
by the CIM by holding down the networking switch for the BIM.
If the CIM is not damaged, hold down the networking switch for the CIM to clear the live
network (including the network parameters for all the BIMs managed by the CIM).
Remove the current detection cable from the HALL port on the CIM.
Remove the BCB cable from the BCB_1 port on the CIM.
Remove the communications cable from the POE port on the CIM.
